Electronic Super Highway

The Whitechapel Gallery will bring together over 100 works that display the impact of computers and the internet on art from the mid-1960s to the present. Chronologically arranged, the exhibition highlights key moments in the history of art and the Internet and begins with works made at the arrival of the new millennium and ends with current experiments in Art and Technology. Electronic Superhighway (2016-1966) will be held at Whitechapel Gallery from 29 January until 15 May 2016.

Mad About the Boy

Inspired by the work of Raf Simons, Gosha Rubchinskiy and Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent, the Mad About The Boy exhibition has emerged from the analysis and understanding of why the industry is so fixated with youth culture. Set to examine the parallels within fashion’s treatment of youth, focusing on the way ideas of the teenage boy are constructed through specific collections and fashion images. Masculinity and youth is reassured through the infinite opportunity, spontaneity and creative freedom of the youth.

The Icelandic Sheep

The Icelandic fibre is perhaps the world’s most versatile. The fleece is dual coated, meaning that it has a long outer coat and a fine inner coat. Its versatility suggests many projects and uses, hand-spinners delighted to spin a wide range of yarns for an even wider range of uses from a single fleece.
